I have had this charizard for most of my life. I'm not kiding here. Pokemon fire red was the first pokemon game I ever had and it was also the 2nd video game I ever had. Of course after watching the show all the time I grew to love charmander/charmeleon/charizard. So when I picked my starter I already knew who my partner was going to be. Me and this charizard have been through hell and back. Yes, this is the same exact charizard from when I first started my pokemon adventure. He has fought the elite four in RireRed, Diamond, Platinum, SoulSilver, and now Black. I'm glad that I never restarted my pokemon fire red. (But I did have leaf green to re-start all the time.) This pokemon is my true starter and will follow me and stick by my side for the rest of my gaming life!

I was very optomistic about sinnoh. Yes I did pre-order diamond but I still wasn't sure how I would feel about all of the new pokemon. Most of the pokemon in it sucked. (my opionon) Yet this one stood out from the others and smacked me in the face going 'HEY, I KICK ASS!' Which was true. After dealing with one in a gym battle, seeing him in the anime and getting to use him on my team, I see he is a pretty damn good pokemon and I plan on making him a permentant party member. Him and charizard will just chill together.
